Dragonmech Information
The latest in biomech artificial intelligence, the Dragonmech offers an extreme environment platform for military, security or rescue operations.
This self aware equipment is designed to operate with varying degrees of improvisation under guidance of orders, utilizing a platform capable of more than biped humanoid synthetics can achieve.
All models come with interior security and un-hackable liquid data transferals. if badly damaged the unit will eject the brain and power cores to a range of 500 miles to prevent sensitive data being stolen.
The use of a self destruct mechanism is banned by the 2035 AI convention.
Normal regulatory body temperature runs from 85 F / 29 C to 100 F / 38 C. Contact JSAI if any irregularities occur.
Units have been shown to withstand temperatures of -112F / -80C to 392 F / 200 C and pressures of 10,300 PSI

There's a bunch more stuff that has to go inside the body cavity for the main part of the brain to fit inside. However the body can be partially controlled via wireless connection even after the brain core has been ejected. The skull still has reactive Armour at the same thickness as the body.
I was thinking more about increasing battlefield survivability, allowing the brain core (and thus the accumulated experience of any single unit) to survive without falling back on ejection. Or to allow the unit to keep fighting even after suffering damage that would kill organics - primarily to the head area. :)
The first thing I thought was about the "Solar panels on a car vs dedicated solar array of the same size". It's always more efficient to have them off site and use that space in this case for armour or something :P
For example you could have heat to energy recovery systems, kinetic recovery systems etc, I'd assume it can generate energy through digesting prey right? I like the touch of the solar panels but feel they are a bit redundant/vulnerable.
Never thought'd I'd be commenting on artwork on FA about solar efficiency and energy recovery xD

I figured the solar panels were just an addition that comes on the outside on top of thick titanium armour. They'd assist with powering artificial organs but wouldn't really be any use for locomotion and stuff. Plus I'd assume that it's much more efficient in the future, but still wouldn't be as powerful.
Yeah the great thing with future tech is you can usually argue for something's purpose based on what it's theoretical maximum could be c:
As a design concept it's certainly a pretty way to add something to the spine area :)
You totally need to have an upgrade/swap out system too haha, combat dong load out ;D

If you have an A series ai core and had to transfer it to one of the larger series bodies, do you have to use a larger core and trander the ai from the original core to the new one? or do they all work with the same core size wise? would be interesting if you have a team using a smaller series and then having to go to a larger one with the ai getting use to a bigger body and the "fun" with said size difference.
DAMN this is intense.....I have a question: if someone were to make a story using this kind of idea, would it be alright if they give credit to the idea of the details of all the dragonmech stuff? Because I think seeing this put into use as a story would be AWESOME and HOT!!! 0///0 If not, that's understandable....just a question.
Yaaaaaaay <3
Because I had an idea for a story based on these guys....maybe even a character, if the species isn't a closed one for only you. Mind you, I wouldn't make him official or anything like that, just something I do on the side: I make TONS and TONS of "characters" that I make and do virtually nothing with XD Usually for just fantasies or my typical "story-boarding" tactics
