New York's grand, gilded bronze statue of General Sherman (William Tecumseh Sherman, 1820-91), recently restored.
Thanks are due to sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens for such magnificence...and the horse's balls are rather spectacular as well!

Unusual... perspective. Oddly enough, despite his surname, Augustus Saint-Gaudens was born in Ireland, not France. Among his other accomplishments were some of the most beautiful coins the U.S. ever minted.

If you wanna see a shiny pair of animal balls, check out the charging bull statue in downtown Manhattan near Wall Street. They're shinier than the rest of the statue because people keep fondling them!
