Looks awesome, I haven't seen Venom in quite some time. Isn't his mouth like an amalgam of teeth and tongue though? :P

That is a recent trend on him along with the whole hyper muscle slash gooey giant body thing. This version is based off the first time I saw Venom back in the 80s where I thought looked more cooler. Back then he did not show tongue much but mainly teeth while occasionally opening it. Initially I think they were not going to even add a mouth. But they needed someone not only new but scary and never done before so they were asked to make a mouth. By chance a movie came out at about that time called Critters that had aliens like little balls but really scary mouths like Venom would eventually have. And the appetites they had helped influence some of the behavior of Venom. Originally meant to be a pissed off guy with an alien costume they added the Critterish mouth and his occasional appetite, on occasion, for human flesh and brains. Bless the 80s. ( Gives thumbs up with cheesy smile ).
