Rai'k started working in a Astrobiological facility on a planet in the neighboring system.
He was very excited because SPACE! But he eventually, as you can see, started to mellow down.
His job you ask?
He is part of a professional selective committee.
The committees across the empire vote on which undesirable species can't be killed because they are too important to a planet's environment. Luckily usually when an ugly gets nominated it does not pass and the Azdov can kill it off,
The committees are also in charge of monitoring all non-sentient beings of a chosen planet.

The Planet's name is Earglade and it's in the Ordovon system,
becuase Ordovon is so close to Amande, which is on the map, Ordovon is not on the map.
Even if it's not on the map, Earglade is still a somewhat cool colony to visit.

The picture is of Rai'k logging in to the computer system on the special detachable type screen, it can actually stay still in mid air where ever you put it, the thing it's attached to in the picture is simply a place to keep it.
