The mechanical arms whirled around him as the tech at eye level, still 30ft up glanced at their interface, making sure everything was refitted properly into me. The briefings were always at immediately before takeoff, but each weapon loaded into his nervous system gave him a hint.
Auto cannons, and light missile pods, this was going to be an air vs ground strike minimum that was for sure. Wings were not super-sonic grade and the fuel was limited, so it was going to be close.
As soon as he got on the runway the proper mission was wired to him, it was off-planet raiders hitting a nearby facility, a bit too common of a mission but the targets never know that.

Template : Flight : Roc , intended for avians typed flight on every duty scales. this template increases the standby size of the Automata to a minimum of 35 feet, and integrates an atmospheric jet engine throughout the Automata’s upper and lower body. This template’s primary benefit is rapid refitting to suit the mission. This refitting focus on the template allows any mission that requires atmospheric flight. However this focus increases the stress on the sense of self with how much this template changes. It also means that the automata has no wings when off mission because of the various specialized wing setups for different speeds of flight, however even without wings the automata may jumpjet around using the integrated jet engine inside them. Also comes with wheels integrated into the feet, for slingshot launches and high speed landings.
Added features.
Stun Talons, with the Automata’s base size is able to apprehend anything smaller through simple leverage and total shock output.
Long range communication hub.
CNVI-A-wep, Completely necessary visual interface, with aiming guides and itergrates with fitted weapons.

Teron Gray has paid off their sign on cost a long time ago and is is current building up their company account with their relatively lucrative specialization. Instead of then saving up for a new fully functional biological body they will be one of the wealthier employees in the future.
