This is the decapitated, bald, and faceless head of a Getting Ghostly Twyla doll from the Monster High series. I'm a big fan of the plastic/vinyl colors, as well as the sculpts of the heads, so it made sense that I'd use this as my introduction to the BJD (Ball Jointed Doll) hobby. MH dolls aren't in the same class as the true BJDs, most of which are made of resin, but they're a good place to start, and significantly less expensive than the super nice pretty dolls I want. She kinda yellowed a bit, maybe because I'm a sweaty person, so I'll have to add some color back in before I start her faceup. And before that, I'll do a reroot and give her some yarn hair. I have a second Twyla that I haven't even opened yet that I'll make up to be her twin once I'm done with doll number one!
