If so, it's even better he's back!
I have had several lumps removed from my 15 year old cat's side and paws... there's more, but they are mostly harmless according to pathology results. I still worry about them though.
I hope the lump turns out to be nothing!

That's good! I am glad to hear that there was a happy ending for that.
I have a cat that also sounds like he's having trouble breathing, but the vet says that he just has kennel cough and there's nothing they can really do for it, but they don't really suffer too bad with it, just like having a cold that comes back every now and then.
One of the tumors we pulled off of my cat looked like an extra toepad. I called it the toemor.
