Good morning everyone~
This was a piece that sat as a sketch for quite a while. If I remember correctly I started the piece in 2013 and didn't finish it until 2014~ The story behind this piece is that there's an entity who take it upon himself to exchange sad things for things that bring joy~ Such as sakura blossoms and red oak leaves in return for a bird that passed away~ This piece was finished in flat color with a bit of texture play layered over for a more whimsical feel. Thank you very much! I believe I received quite a few commissioned projects at the time which took priority. This piece fell into a projects folder and waited until I sorted through all my folders and found it again. ; u ; Sad but true. I was glad to find it, finish it, and share it with everyone~
