I'm a phoenix in the water

As long as we're together, does it matter where we go?End of 2015 painting; it's great to see changes over the years and wrap things up, and I can definitely say that there's been a lot of changes since I started FA back in 2009! :3
Just a little practice for lighting and painting of Were in my everyday clothes I wear IRL. We've all got some contrast between our real selves and characters somehow! :)

I know it is, but in all honest it's pretty difficult to transfer a more toony/stylized character to a realistic one, no? Hahah!
All in all I'd say regardless that it was a pretty great test to see how far uncanny valley goes.
Preferences then takes place after the overall is seen completely.
