I just use a Faber Castell brushpen, which has india ink. It's usually not as dark as i'd like, though, so I either have to accept that, or re-ink it (which sucks). If you want reeeallly dark lines, I'd recommend Koh-I-Noor brand ink; it's black as SIN and doesn't fade at all. Or you can just make friends with Curves/Levels in Photoshop :P
