Here is something that I've had in the works for awhile. Basically, I've had a One Piece OC for awhile that I've been using in the BEAddventure every now and then (in this and this storyline, for example), and I thought it was high time to get a pic drawn of her.

Backstory: Anne started off as a particularly skilled botanist with a lab in the East Blue. Having had her Devil Fruit powers and a tendency to collect all of the plant samples she could even then, she often turned towards Black Markets to obtain samples of strange and/or unique plants from the other seas. Eventually, word of her skills spread to the World Government, who approached her with a proposal for her to begin doing research for them. Anne refused and sent the messenger away, then, having learned enough of the government's shadier dealings from her underground sources that she feared what the government might do to "convince" her to reconsider, she went into action. Anne immediately gathered up the contents of her lab, then convinced her lab assistants and various other women in the nearby town to accompany her as she obtained a ship and set off to begin her career as a pirate.

Like the Straw Hats, Anne has little interest in targeting civilians, and has even used her abilities to help many of them over the course of her travels. However, she's happy to attack Marines, and will raid their ships or bases whenever an opportunity presents itself. Her bounty remains relatively low mostly due to how most of the bases she attacks are fairly unimportant, and she tends to avoid killing, though she'll occasionally kidnap female Marines that catch her fancy, then return them after altering them with her powers.

Powers/Fighting Skills: Anne's Devil Fruit is the Sow Sow Fruit, which allows her to 'sow' seeds in any medium, then make them grow near-instantly however she likes. However, she cannot affect plants that have already sprouted (mostly to make her powers distinct from those of Binz). To make up for this, her powers have one more aspect: when she 'sows' a seed in a medium, she can alter the medium itself instead of the seed, changing it to take on aspects of the plant that the seed would've grown into. In other words, Anne could, for example, plant a watermelon seed into a woman's breasts to make them grow to the size of watermelons, or plant a tree seed into a person's skin to give it the toughness of tree bark. Due to overexposure to lust-inducing pollen during lab days, Anne is near-permanently horny, so she turns this aspect of her powers toward perverted ends more often than not. Like most Devil Fruit users with abilities allowing them to alter the bodies of others, anyone Anne has altered this way will return to normal if Anne wills it, or is knocked unconscious or killed.

The frond she is carrying is actually strong as steel, with exceptionally sharp leaves, which she uses as a sword. It also provides one of the workarounds of the "no affecting already sprouted plants" aspect of her powers; the fern that the frond comes from is one of those whose individual parts could each grow into an entirely new fern if planted, which means that the frond counts as a 'seed', enabling Anne to extend, bend, and otherwise alter it at will. While Anne is not the most physically powerful pirate around, she has immense experience with her Devil Fruit powers, her world-class knowledge as a botanist, and one of the most extensive and still growing collections of plant seeds in the One Piece world, enabling her to overcome her shortcomings where necessary.
