Biting of more than one can chew!

Maxine huddled behind the boulder as she took cover behind it. Breathing heavily as she have been chased by the Devil himself. "Damn it This was supposed to be an easy bounty!" She complained as she revised her lasguns and whatever else the lapin could use.
With all said and done she was now whising that she hadn't taken the job, with a laspistol in one hand Maxine slowly raised her head up to get a view of things. Only to quickly duck down as a barrage of energy fire zipped across the air hitting or missing her boulder. The Lapin cussed before she yelled out " Ya'll a group of dung eating reptiles!"The replie that was given back would've surprised anyone. "Actually we are more related to amphibians that rep...urgh!" The response was cut short as Maxine shot the bandit down, ducking down again as a hail of fire barraged the boulder again.

Maxine tried her wrist communicator hoping that her vixen friend would respond, yet all she got was static. She grabbed her hat and threw it to the ground cussing with all her might, then suddenly a hoarse voice could be heard from the other side. "Damn you Fuzzball I'm gonna chop yer feet of and skinn ya for shootin Lespin!" It was her target, Warten Two-Toes Dalls. Maxine snarled as she picked her hat from the dirt and put it on, taking a peek on the situation.

Warten had brought about ten gunman minus poor Lespin. The Lapin doe slumped down on the ground checking her pistol for a last time, a half snorted laugh came out " Well atleast that half bloated toad made it easy for me! Might be easy money in the end?!" Maxine took a deep breath and jumped out of her cover with guns blazing.
Epilogue: The sheriff of Imal town was stunned to see when a white lapin with black spotted fur stepped into his office, smelling like burnt hair and her clothes had burnt holes scattered across her. Yet it was four bruised goons and the main catch Warten that she had dragged behind her that really spoke volumes. Maxine walked up to his desk with a minor limp on her sreps and a great clonk was heard when she dropped a double barreled plasma-rifle onto his desk, and with calm eyes and voice said. "Sheriff lets talk about My payment, You're Information And How this was supposed to be Easy Money!?"
