2011-2015 Improvement Meme
·2011: I got my first tablet on 2010 (if I remember right), it was a gift from my ex, best gift ever, only thing I should thank him about lol
I have no drawings from before 2011, I did a few with the tablet and also with a mouse, but lost them when my old HP laptop died :/
DeviantArt was the web site that actually made me want to draw more often, you can see I only did horses (well in fact I did a kind of fox as a gift hehe).
My biggest inspirations were (and they still are) Aomori, Cerona, WhiteSpiritWolf, Chistokrovka, Lenika86 and BronzeHalo.
·2012: Drawing became a hobby and passion, with every new drawing I wanted to draw more and more.
Couldn't draw for almost half a year, my tablet died, laptop died, dog died... An awful year
·2013: Had to draw in the older computer of my father, as it couldn't held Photoshop, started to learn how to draw with SAI.
Got my first commissions on dA, it was for points hehe, (400 = $0.40) still better than nothing.
Had a lent laptop, then my grandmother gifted me my current laptop (she's the best ;u; )
·2014: Best art year (for me), I learned a lot, did different things.
Two very important beings for me, my beloved dogs, came to my life, first Tyson, adopted in Jan 31 and then Khan as a gift on Feb 15
They made me feel a lot better, since the death of my dog in 2012, I had an empty space in both my heart and life.
I'll not change them for anything ❤️
·2015: Improvement was slow this year, but at least I want to think there was just a bit.
Got more commissions and made a good number of YCHs.
With all the problems and bad vibes around, actually draw everyday without getting an art-block, was quite a miracle.
In fact I learned to disconnect from real life while drawing, which made me feel happy during the time drawing.
Like I always says, everyone can draw, is just a matter of practice, patience and enjoy what you do.
Try different styles, learn from others on streams or speedpaints.
I'm a self taught, never went to an art school/class. All I learned was thanks to others' work, trying to find out how to do things.
Realism taught me a lot, how to break a drawing process into pieces.
In the same way I lack knowledge of drawing without references, tho I'm trying my best and this year made some drawings without refs.
Time to keep drawing and learning ^^
