This is the first time I publish a story about Lagoon, I mean in my profile, long ago I wrote one when Gou confessed to Sousuke, was my first story about Lagoon series, the only person that was was my boyfriend who drew them together (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15031606/ ).
This time I wrote this story because I dreamt them do what you will read, I dunno the aspect of the father, as in anime style I saw him as shadow, but I think I remember he had the beard, anyway, it’s rare I dreamt furries, but this time was so intense that I decided to write it, I did another dream, and I’ll publish soon that too… I dunno why I feel so affectionate to Gou and Sousuke, I know that there are some people who hate him, but I can’t…
Maybe because without him, Kuugo couldn’t go to Harusu; maybe because he is the one who suffered for love more than others, because he is the one that try all to be seen by his love, or maybe just because I admire him, even if he is not my favourite, so I thought that after all his difficulties he gained the right to be happy at least in my version of this story

Father…


Morning at Sousuke’s Room

Sousuke (waking up in his bed): “Mmm *yaaawn*”
Kuugo (knocking the door): “Sousuke are you awake? Can I enter?”
Sousuke (scratching his eyes): “Mmm y-yes”
Kuugo (entering): “I’m going, I let you a bit of breakfast that Gou did before”
Sousuke (watching next to him and not seeing Gou): “I see”
Kuugo: “Need you something?”
Sousuke: “Um, n-no, you can go”
Kuugo: “Don’t you have to go to work?”
Sousuke: “Why?”
Kuugo: “Well usually you wake up for first”
Sousuke: “I got some days off”
Kuugo: “Oh ok”
Sousuke: “You were worry for me? hahahah”
Kuugo: “If you’re at home I suggest you to sleep more then”
Sousuke: “Um?”
Kuugo: “I say for you, you should see your face, still sleepy and with hairs everywhere”
Sousuke (launching to Kuugo a pillow): “Go to work idiot”
Kuugo (closing the door): “Ok, ok I was joking”
Sousuke: “And say hello to Gou”
Kuugo (opening the door): “Only a hello, not my dear sweetie I miss you and your”
Sousuke (grabbing alarm clock): “…”
Kuugo: “Ehm I go”
Sousuke: “Yes, it’s better”
Kuugo: “Bye”
Sousuke: “Bye see you this evening”
Kuugo: “Oh! This evening, can Yuujirou come here?”
Sousuke: “Yes…”
Kuugo (closing the door): “Thank you”

Kuugo went downstairs and Sousuke stayed in his room

Sousuke: “Pfff now he ask me if he can come here, he secretly try to introduce him here every evening, he think I didn’t notice it? Well I think I’ll follow his suggest, sleep more wil help me to relax and not think that Gou left bed soon, Um? He left a paper, Sorry, I’ll arrive as soon as I can Gou, Ps: I love you, and remember to go to take Seiya…”

Sousuke felt a bit better after read that paper and returned under the warm sheet to sleep a bit more, two hours late…

Sousuke (scratching his bones): “Mmm now it’s better, but this place it s so warm why let it…”

But in a minute or in another he should do it so, he left the bed and went to do breakfast downstairs, then he did all he usually did, like wash clothes, clean house, and all little things that make that a comfortable place, after all it’s been awhile he had some days off to do it, of course pass that time with Gou would be better but being him a chef, the days he can close the restaurant are very bit…

Sousuke (washing the floor): “I have to clean all, Seiya usually walk sockless, oh, someone rang the doorbell, maybe it’s the postman, my pack arrived”

Sousuke went to sign the paper of the postman, and came back at home with his pack

Sousuke: “Ok, now I have to put this lube in the wardrobe in the secret box, fortunately Seiya hadn’t ask yet what is, but if he discover these stock of lube… Oh talking about him, it’s almost time to go to take him, today he finish school soon”

So Sousuke went in the school of Seiya to take him, he entered and went to his classroom, usually in that school, parents or who for them, must go in the class and take them directly there, showing his presence to the teacher.
Due to his work Sousuke can’t go to take Seiya all the times, so for this at the start of the year he gave the photos and the documents of Gou, Yuujirou, Kuugo, Rai, Yamato (and yes also Yuri, just in case all couldn’t) so all was secure, but he didn’t prevent a thing…

Sousuke (entering in the class and talking to the teacher): “Good Afternoon! I came to take Seiya…”
Students: “Morning Inami-san”
Sousuke: “Uhm? Is Seiya went to the toilet?”
Teacher: “I’m confused Mr. Inami I thought you sent that man to take Seiya to your place, Seiya seems he knew him”
Sousuke: “!!! What? I didn’t send anyone”
Teacher: “Oh! I have to call the police so”
Sousuke: “No, no, probably was one of my friend”

Sousuke went outside of the school thinking while walking with his looks down

Sousuke: “But I didn’t send nobody here, could be Gou, maybe he want to make a surprise to me”
??? (in front of Sousuke): “Sousuke!”
Sousuke (raising his looks): “Um? !!!”
???: “Long time I don’t see you, you grow up… well”

The mysterious man shown that Seiya was taking his hands

Seiya: “Big Bro, look who arrived”
Sousuke: “YOU!!!”
Seiya: “Yeah he came to…”
Sousuke: “Seiya shut up!”
Seiya (sad): “!!! (I knew he would be angry)”
Sousuke: “How dare you to show your face after 15 years?”
???: “Don’t scream to your brother he did nothing wrong”
Sousuke: “Yeah his only fault was not know you as me”
???: “This is how you speak to your father?”
Sousuke: “I don’t have a father!”
Seiya: “!!!”

In that moment Seiya remembered that every time he asked about his father Sousuke immediately changed topic, or that all the photos in their home are cut or miss his dad’s face

Sousuke: “I lost a father 15 years ago, together with your right to be it”
Sousuke’s father: “Sousuke…”
Sousuke (taking Seiya’s hand and avoiding his father’s looks): “Let’s go home brother”
Seiya: “… Wait bro, don’t squeeze too much my hand”

In the car

Sousuke: “Cccnnn”
Seiya (scared and sad): “…”
Sousuke (noticing Seiya’s worries): “Don’t worry Seiya I’m not angry with you”
Seiya (still sad): “…”
Sousuke: “He came in class and said he was your father, I can understand you would know him better”
Seiya: “…”
Sousuke: “But trust me, it’s better if you forget about him”
Seiya: “Sousuke”
Sousuke: “Yes”
Seiya: “I did wrong?”
Sousuke: “I said it’s not your fault”
Seiya: “The tone you’re using say the contrary…”
Sousuke: “You didn’t know, just for the future, come only with me, Gou or the others”
Seiya: “Ok…”

Seiya would ask him why, but he saw that wasn’t the case, Sousuke was too angry and he felt guilty enough
At home

Sousuke: “Seiya I’ll go to my room if you need me”
Seiya: “I see”
Sousuke: “When Gou will arrive tell him that I’m not hungry, eat just you two ok?”
Seiya: “Big brother I…”
Sousuke (going upstairs): “Do what you want, games, read, eat, watch tv; I need to rest, I have headache”
Seiya: “…”

So Sousuke went upstairs to his room he lay on the bed hugging his legs and thinking with a serious and a sad looks, meanwhile Seiya lay on the sofa too and watched the television, or at least it’s what he tried to do, he was sad too, he also went upstairs to see Sousuke and when he saw that he was on the bed sad, he came back downstairs feeling more guilt; luckily for him in that moment arrived Gou…

Gou (entering in the home and noticing nobody around): “Hey I’m back! … I was hoping in a more enthusiastic welcome like kisses in my cheeks”
Seiya: “Sempai!”
Gou: “Ah! Finally someone ^w^ Seiya how are you?”
Seiya: “Well mmm”
Gou (petting Seiya’s head): “Um? What’s up? You were sad because I wasn’t here? Now I’m all will be good”
Seiya: “It’s about big bro”
Gou: “Um? What happended?”
Seiya: “My dad came to my school and after meet Sousuke, since that moment he…”
Gou: “!!! Your dad?”
Seiya: “Yeah”
Gou: “(The man who abandoned Sousuke and Seiya long ago, he back? I can understand why Sousuke is so shocked)”
Seiya: “Sousuke went upstairs and he still lay on the bed in silence and sad”
Gou: “I see, well don’t worry for him, I’ll go to him once you will eat your dinner”
Seiya: “Well I don’t have…”
Gou: “And if I’ll do hamburger and chips”
Seiya: “!!! Mmm”
Gou: “C’mon do that smile”
Seiya: “^w^”

In the kitchen

Gou: “Heheheh, you want also cheese the bugher”
Seiya: “Yes”
Gou (cooking): “(Ok one smiled now I have to convince the most difficult)”
Seiya: “Sempai’s dishes are the best..”
Gou: “And don’t forget it”
Seiya: “Never”
Gou: “Oh I almost forgot, today we did a special dessert at the Lounge”
Seiya: “Wow, what is?”
Gou: “You are lucky I save last glass for you, Kuugo and Yuujirou turned around many times during the day but I said no it’s for Seiya”
Seiya: “////////////////// Triple chocolate mousse”
Gou: “So who is the best?”
Seiya: “Gou-Sempai ^w^”
Gou: “Exactly”
Seiya: “Sempai?”
Gou: “Yes?”
Seiya: “Can you do something for bro too?”
Gou: “Of course, let me do all”
Seiya: “Thank you”

So Gou went upstairs to Sousuke’s room

Gou (in front of Sousuke’s room): “Toc Toc”
Sousuke: “Mmm? Oh It’s you Gou”
Gou: “All this? I came back frm work and all you can say is, oh it’s you”
Sousuke: “Yeah sorry, welcome back”
Gou (sitting on the bed): “Better, but maybe with this would be better”
Sousuke: “I didn’t hear you, you arrived long ago?”
Gou: “A bit, I make Seiya dinner, he wouldn’t but I cooked him burger and chips, impressive how kids like that menu”
Sousuke: “Yeah”
Gou (kissing Sousuke’s cheek): “Would you a burgher too?”
Sousuke: “N-no thank you, my stomach is closed”
Gou (licking Sousuke’s neck): “I hope not your desire too”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “Mmm? Something wrong?”
Sousuke: “Eh? N-no continue”
Gou: “Hey?”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “Sousuke!”
Sousuke: “Yes?”
Gou: “Wanna talk about your father?”
Sousuke: “!!!”
Gou: “…”
Sousuke: “Seiya told you”
Gou: “Yes he did, you know with this actions you make him think he is the the cause of your sadness”
Sousuke: “I told him to not think to that”
Gou: “But he is a kid, and you rarely talk about your father”
Sousuke: “Becasue it’s painful”
Gou: “I know”
Sousuke: “H left me and Seiya 15 years ago, Seiya was very child and I had to take care of him alone… it wasn’t easy but I wouldn’t social service take him, was my only brother what rest of my family, but with this I don’t want to say he was a problem, on the contrary…”
Gou: “I know, I know”
Sousuke (crying on Gou’ shoulder): “I never discovered the reason why he left us, Growing I started to hate him, and would forgot him, and I wouldn’t that Seiya didn’t suffer as I did… but know I can’t compete to father’s affection, I cant substitute to it…”
Gou: “Maybe it’s time you tell Seiya”
Sousuke: “You think?”

They continued to speak for long, then Gou convinced Sousuke to eat something

Gou: “With stomach full is better,? no”
Sousuke: “Yeah, oh where is Kuugo he said he would come with Yuujirou”
Gou: “I left them in the Lounge, I said they could stay there”
Sousuke: “Oh I see”
Gou: “It was all the day they watched a chocolate mousse, and they said thye would experiment something”
Sousuke: “///////////////////// There is no need you add other particulars”
Gou: “Sousuke, I think I’ll close some days”
Sousuke: “Why?”
Gou: “I think you need someone, and I think Seiya will like this idea too”
Sousuke: “//////////////////// Gou”

Then they went to sleep…
The following morning on the floor in front of the door they found some tickets for the Luna-Park, it’s not what normally postman deliver, so Sousuke was suspicious, but Seiya was very happy to could go with his brother and Gou too, so after a little discussion they decided to go there…

Gou: “So i twas a bad idea?”
Sousuke: “Well no”
Gou: “So?”
Sousuke: “Fine you were right…”
Seiya: “XD Sempai always win”
Gou: “Yeah”
Sousuke: “What this is supposed to mean?”
Gou: “Oh relax”
Seiya: “Can we play fishing?”
Sousuke: “Oh ok, don’t you prefer shout to the things?”
Gou: “Oh let him fish if he likes”
Sousuke: “I was just asking, how much cost the…”
??? (putting money on the banc): “I’ll pay for him”
Gou: “!!!”
Sousuke: “…”
Seiya: “D-dad?”
Gou: “Sousuke”
Sousuke (trying to leave): “…”
Sousuke’s father: “Are you going somewhere Sousuke?”
Sousuke: “What is your plan?”
Sousuke’s father: “Plan?”
Sousuke: “You appear after years, and you pretend to be still considered a father?”
Sousuke’s father: “I’m sorry for what I did…”
Seiya: “…”
Sousuke: “You think that you can appear and be forgiven just trying to act as a good father for Seiya, and then, after some days what you will do? You will disappear? You will delude Seiya too?”
Gou (grabbing Sousuke’s hands): “Sousuke!”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “Seiya is watching”
Sousuke: “Sorry Seiya you shouldn’t see me like this, but…”

Sousuke hadn’t time to finish his sentence that Seiya run away scared, he though that all was his fault

Sousuke’s father: “You saw what you did?”
Sousuke: “Me it was you that”
Sousuke’s father: “I pretend respect…”
Gou: “Stop! Now the important thing is Seiya, I don’t care your problems, of course if Sousuke hates you he has his reasons”
Sousuke’s father: “Stay back tiger”
Sousuke: “Don’t speak to my boy with that tone”
Sousuke’s father: “My boy?”
Gou: “///////////////////”
Sousuke: “Gou could also be a jerk sometimes…”
Gou: “Hey!”
Sousuke: “… he did errors in his past and accepted it with all relatives consequences, he is exactly what you will never be, a real man!”
Gou: “//////////////////////”

Said this Sousuke walked away, he should calm or he could explode, while Gou stayed in front of Sousuke’s father

Sousuke’s father: “You must have not a easy life with him, huh?”
Gou: “Well, not everything goes in the right way sometimes but we are happy, now if you excuse me, I have to search Seiya”
Sousuke’s father: “Gou wait…”
Gou (stopping and turning): “!!!”
Sousuke’s father (crying): “Thank you all this time you took care of them”
Gou: “There is no need to thank me”

So Gou went to search Seiya, he didn’t do much street, in fact Seiya was sat in a bech looking the ground with a sad looks

Gou: “Is this seat busy?”
Seiya: “Sempai? N-no you can sit”
Gou: “Ah, finally”
Seiya: “…”
Gou: “…”
Seiya: “…”
Gou: “Wanna tell me why you run away?”
Seiya: “I don’t like see people scream, and brother was angry and desperate”
Gou: “Seiya, you have to understand that for Sousuke the scar he has, cant be healed so easily, he needs time, if he react like this, it’s because he want to protect you from sufferance”
Seiya: “Mmm”
Gou: “But he has fear too, becasue he would be like you, he would like to trust in him and give him a second chance, but adults are complicated you know”
Seiya: “I see and I know, but he is our father”
Gou: “Yeah and always will be”
Seiya: “But now what should I do?”
Gou: “What your heart suggest you?”
Seiya: “Mmmmm”

In that moment Sousuke’s and Seiya’s father arrived

Sousuke’s father: “Seiya, I’ll not leave you”
Seiya: “…”

Seiya would trust this words but he stayed in silence with his confusion and wouldn’t talk with his father, Gou understanding the situation went away, in reality he went to call Sousuke

Gou: “Sousuke”
Sousuke: “Sorry I destroyed a good day like this, just for…”
Gou: “Sousuke, I saw your father cry…”
Sousuke: “!!! Impossible he never…”
Gou: “He thanked me becasue I took care of you two”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “The question is, you really think what he did it’s unforgivable?”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “He is really a bad person? He came back, if really was bad, he could rest where he was”
Sousuke: “Maybe he finished money and…”
Gou: “I think people can change and gain a second possibility and you think this too”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “Nothing it’s lost, at least for Seiya”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “Don’t you think?”
Sousuke: “Gou?”
Gou: “Um?”
Sousuke: “What I did to deserve you?”
Gou: “///////////////// I think you always liked buff boys”
Sousuke: “Don’t be silly, I’m serious”
Gou: “I think you know the answer…”

So Sousuke went in the bench where Seiya was sat

Sousuke (sitting on the bench): “Hey”
Seiya (sad): “Big brother”
Sousuke’s father (from behind): “With him he talks”
Gou: “It’s normal they are brothers”
Sousuke: “Excuse me, we want privacy!”
Seiya: “Sousuke what I have to do?”
Sousuke: “Well, you don’t have to ask me, I would protect you, but I thikn was also becasue I would protect myself”
Seiya: “I would not arrive to have dad too, if he will…”
Sousuke: “Listen Seiya…”
Seiya: “Mmm”
Sousuke: “Dad was young when he left us, he was immature and wasn’t ready for his role, but people can change… maybe it’s late for me to have a relationship with him, but you can have your chance and try”
Seiya: “…”
Sousuke: “In all these years dad never come to take me at school, but he came for you”
Seiya: “!!!”
Sousuke: “He never paid an attraction for me”
Seiya: “I…”
Sousuke: “Yes”
Seiya: “If I try, you promise you will try too”
Sousuke: “Will you left me my times?”
Seiya: “Yes”
Sousuke: “Then yes, I’ll try”
Seiya: “But in case…”
Sousuke: “Don’t worry if he will disappear again, you have your big bro here that will kick his ass once for all”
Seiya: “!!! I see”

After Seiya stood up and went to his dad direction

Seiya: “Dad?”
Sousuke’s father: “Yes”
Seiya: “Can we take cotton candy”
Sousuke’s father: “Eh? Oh! Ehm, sure!”

While Seiya was going to take cotton candy Sousuke stopped his father

Sousuke: “Hey!”
Sousuke’s father: “Um?”
Sousuke: “Show him I was wrong, and I really will kick your ass!”

Then their dad went with Seiya, while Gou and Sousuke followed them from behind

Gou: “Was really necessary last part?”
Sousuke: “I want be sure”
Gou: “I see”
Sousuke: “…”
Gou: “About what you promised”
Sousuke: “I’ll try, just not immediately”
Gou (hugging Sousuke with an arm): “I understand don’t worry”
Sousuke: “Thank you”
Gou: “Wanna try some attractions?”
Sousuke: “Yeah”
Gou: “Which?”
Sousuke: “How about the Tunnel of Love?”
Gou: “//////////////// It’s all dark”
Sousuke (whispering to Gou’s ear): “A perfect situation to *pssst, pssst*”
Gou: “/////////////!!!!!!”
Sousuke: “So?”
Gou (taking Sousuke on his arms and running to Tickets banc): “Two tickets, please, for the most long travel”
Assistant: “You sure? Normally it’s boring and continue for 30 minutes”
Sousuke: “You heard him, give those tickets!”

So while Seiya was discovering the happiness of having a father, Gou and Sousuke was enjoying the attraction they chosen…
