Not sure where I heard the song from, but for a period of time I had "The Briar and the Rose" stuck in my head and just had to draw something from it. Similar to an earlier picture this was also a case of being astounded how few images I could actually find with the concept, something that really had to be corrected.

As an aside Nightwolf is ever amused by the expression on the father.
Briar: "WTF is this thing?"
