Illiath is due to get a larger role in a couple of weeks, the last two pages of chapter 13. After that she might not appear until about chapter 30 when she really becomes a principal character.

Whoa wait a moment...chapter 30!?!?

'Fraid so. Most of my comics were originally written as stories posted on the DMFA forum. I posted one chapter every two weeks, or in the case of Epsilon I actually managed to bang out a chapter every week for the most part.
One of the reasons I took the unusual step of starting the sequel to Project Future while the original was still ongoing, was because I know how long these things go on for and I did not want to have to wait until Project Future ended before Epsilon could begin. Of course I made sure to time things so that they wouldn't spoil each other too much.

Ah I see. That makes sense. I'm also going to guess that you'll add new background info especially as we learn new stuff in DMFA, right?

Yes, I've been making slight adjustments as we learn more. The biggest annoyance that way was that Mab once told me that a Clan Leader could shapeshift down to normal size, but then later changed her mind - after I'd written the Epsilon story. So that's required a few tweaks. Nothing has changed yet that impacts the plot in a massive, massive way and if it does, I'm pretty good at finding workarounds.

Panda. For a long time she was just called 'Puma girl', but Merlin liked the idea of naming her after an animal which she isn't, just to be awkward. It's short for 'Pandora' though.

Panda Seme is another example of the story changing slightly in its comic incarnation - as a written-word story I could cut a lot of corners describing and maintaining the presence of the students. In the comic, they visibly appear and they have to have things to be doing in the background. Merlin has been very helpful there but it did mean that we had to go through and design a bunch of students who only appeared prominently once or twice, e.g. Puma Girl crying after Richard describes the Brain Museum.
For the comic, a lot of these characters had to be fleshed out or in some cases, inserted retroactively, like Ben and Mike (the two blue foxes) who are cameos for a friend.

EDIT: And I'm not sure Sheila and Panda are actually an item... 'cubi in a school are likely to have somewhat fluid relationships.

Daryil spent centuries as a sort of wannabe Clan Leader before he finally did ascend and become tri-winged. Some of the actual tri-wings found this offensive. Hence Taun is unlikely to be happy about him joining her ranks.

Just read the whole axeman series in one part of a long road trip. Great as always. I want an endless stream of this.

Heads You Lose is due to finish soon - reckon it's worth posting PDFs of that too?

That was the only one I hadn't kept up to date with. I remember reading the first page or two then stopping for some reason then I never read it.

I'm sure some people will find benefit from posing a pdf version of it so provided there is no downside yes you should do so.
