Tried to draw Amal and DJ in zootopia style, or at least portions, but Im REALLY not happy with how it turned out...guess Im still trying to get back into it after not drawing for a few months. Will probably move this to scraps in a few days.

I guess Im ok with DJ's, Im really hating Amal's look, but even with DJ it felt like I only shrunk his legs. Overall I feel like its a really poor attempt at style emulation. Thanks anyways

Naaaaah, I think the faces look more toony as well! And despite what you say I think the style emulation worked well with Amal and DJ :3

You may not like it, but I think it look pretty alright. I actually like the Zootopia style, and would try it myself if I wasn't so bad at doing another's style. Heh.

Well thanks but it wasnt necessarily that I was aiming for a cute style, it was zootopia style specifically and in that aspect it wasnt done too well

But zootopia is cute, it's a kids movie lol, the style of it is to be whimsical so that kids are attracted to it. I can see that in your drawing, your characters come off very friendly

I like how this turned out. I kind of dig the long-torso look, but it also makes me think how painful it'd be to jog a mile with such tiny little legs.
