Been thinking about this one for a while... A toy my roomie's kid has inspired it- this crazy, four-winged gryphon thing he has. I have no idea where it's from, but the head on it was fascinating, and I've wanted to design a possible suit and character around it, sans the four wings (too cumbersome to do in suit).
This is very sketchy, I realize, but I'm enjoying what seems to be building, here. :) I dunno what i'm gonna call s/he/i, yet, or what other little details may warp as time goes on. This may just end up as a suit-head for some random, future customer.
Until she passes out of my work-space, she'll be copyright to me... :P

No worries. I've been making odd things for years, so I decided a couple of years back, that I needed to fine-tune the skillz and went and took a course at the University in Fashion-Design. I can draft my own patterns to a person's size (not always perfectly, but hey). When I "discovered" the furry fandom, I thought- woo! Fursuits!
The mesh is only a base, though- need to sculpt another material on top for the details of the face. I'm going to see how well cellu-clay works for that. I might think about making molds and casting in foam-insulation material, like "beetlecaticon: does... She glues the fur onto that.
