Another Fjord experiment, this time I tried to concentrate on the fur and the different shades of it. I can't decide whether I hate the picture or not. Oh well.

Good thing you drew him with a lot of fur, that looks coooold. Stars are much easier to do when you've got black paper, it seems. It adds to the picture too :3

I'm sure it's freeeezing out there! But I reckon he'll be okay. I really like drawing stars, for some reason they make me really happy. ^_^

I love looking at stars and clouds :3 Clouds are my thing but stars can be beautiful too. It's rarely clear enough to even see the stars at night here.

We don't get many stars here either, London is too close. But in Finland, in the archipelago, oh the stars! You could see the Milkyway properly, there were so many of them. So bright too! I miss Finnish skies... *wistful sigh*

I too think that there is nothing to hate about that picture. You should try to use darker colors at the fur to show some muscle details. That would let the body look more 3D. You know what I mean?

I do indeed. I was trying to be subtle with the coat colours, but the thing I always forget is how different it looks after it's been scanned. The fur detail in the original is much better and more defined. I need to remember to make everything stand out that little bit more so the scanner won't ruin the pictures.
