What an adorable piece and wonderful gift! I've been staring down the color and was wondering about a couple of things. I really dig the shading, especially on the legs, and I was wondering if it was done with just straight up colored pencils. Also, the white lines between the black outline and color sections really make the drawing pop, and I was curious about how you did those too! <3

Its actually a great technique I often use, the base is prismacolor markers and then I use colored pencil to shade on top. Then there is already some color down to work with =) As for the white hilights, it's just a thin line of white gouache paint in certain places. Hope that helps!

i had ask Silent ravin to draw something to thanks my friend who often draw for me. i ask this:
i want a cute scene of christmas, one of us pounces his/her friends because (s)he have just gives something like a plushie.
a litle background like a christmas tree with some gifts one the ground...
and look the result. Silent Ravin have drawed what i want better that i can imagine it
