This looks so amazing! I love the effects, Kyuubi, and he's as cute as ever!

I wouldn't call what he did evil, persay. He even said himself that his species don't have emotions, just see what is positive for everybody and what isn't. He could not feel the pain of the girls because it was not natural for him to do so. He was trying to help the universe out! He had good intentions and was just doing his job :^)

I dunno man, that is some Macchiavellian shit right there, haha. I think there had to have been an alternate fuel source for his people that didn't involve torturing sentient beings (not that torment of non-sentient beings is good either). But since the incubators are unfeeling empty critters, they just chose whatever yielded the highest reward for their efforts and ignored the collateral damage since it didn't really affect them. I do like how this calls into question how we humans treat our natural vital resources. Uncomfortable when the mirror is turned on us.

If I had to make a magical girl wish, I would wish for its entire species to feel the same gamut of emotions that humans do... poetic justice! Vindictive? You bet'cha! ;)

Very true! If you think about it, they want results. When it comes to the future of the entire universe, I don't think they care much for the few little girls they affect. Plus, it's a renewable energy source (vague so readers aren't spoiled), so it's not like it would run out and leave them high and dry. I think that it's immoral when ethics are considered, but since they don't have any then it can't really be seen that way! It could be a metaphor for humans and our effect on the world, though! That's an interesting thought!

I don't think the incubators are the heralds of the universe, I suspect they're just self-important, as if the needs of their civilizations and neighbouring civilizations are more important than ours. Kyubei said something to the effect of if the incubators ran out of energy when mankind finally travelled through the stars, they wouldn't find any other civilizations- so it's not like the whole universe would go poof or anything, just the incubators. It's all really fresh on my mind since I just watched it last night. It's such an interesting show! Looking forward to seeing the movies next.

The show really was great. I watched it all in one day! I've been meaning to watch the movies, but I haven't found the time. I'm sure they're great, though!
