*laughs* There was a tiny bit of internet. Okay it was like non-civilian. Weird though how only between 89-95 it exploded into being. (With a modem that made noise that scared cats and could be heard connecting from space hahaha.)

I'm torn on that myself - I think I might have to go pick up the book now to see what he thinks; it's a very interesting subject. As a retailer, I can say the advent of the internet really changed the course of sales and thinking the consumer needs instant gratification no matter what the situation or circumstance, but... that's a whole different ball of wax right there. ;)
