This is the living room of the reconstruction, alone. The far wall shows my chair and computer work station, file cabinets stacked nearly to the ceiling, and a set of shelves for DVD movies. A door to a small balcony is hidden in the left corner. (And isn't reproduced so as to open, you can see.) It's fairly easy to spot my big CRT monitor. A little less obvious is that you can see the same monitor from the side, against the other wall! *My* floor, by the way, isn't parquety wood, it's linoleum squares. (Not unattractive, and easy to clean.)
What's not evident here is that the near wall isn't a wall actually. It's a stand-out book shelve, stacked with two rows of paperbacks. One row faces out into the visible part of the living room. But the living room actually four or five feet longer than it appears. The remaining space is enclosed by the projecting book shelves. Shelves on the other two walls in this enclave create a sort of book-nook. The shelves have enough space for numerous knick-knacks of interest as well, but there were insurmountable problems photographing in this area. 1) You couldn't step back more than about two feet from anything -- too close to focus or take in much area. 2) Even in daylight the illumination was awful.

Interesting idea, but I suspect it could be trickier than it sounds. For one thing, I'd need the full size files.
Secondly, I think the gaps are just in these photos of the model. I believe all corners and walls were in fact covered during the photo sessions. There should be plenty of my art, hung on walls, visible.
