So Ive been thinking about who I wanted to have interact with Pixie (my little pastel alien cat) and thought “what about alien meets cryptid?” i couldnt find a cryptid a liked enough to go with her that wasnt straight up like just werewolf so i sorta made one. still canine but also not.

The Beast of Brakket Wood commonly known as the “Banshee Wolf-Bat” is described to be a 9-10ft canine/bat hybrid said to inhabit a dense forest known as Brakket Wood in Frostport, —–. A long-armed, void eyed mammal with a long tail. It was first spotted on September 02,–94 swinging high in the branches of a tree by a hunter.
“I heard it before I saw anythin’. It was a blood-curtlin’ scream, loudest thing I’ve ever heard. I could feel it vibrate in my bones. My dog took off running to the truck and I hit the deck, pointin’ my gun in every direction. I didnt see nothin’ til i heard a crack and a branch fell 2 inches from my face. It speared the ground it fell so far, like it was thrown like a spear. I looked up to see where it had fallen when I saw somethin’ look at me with white eyes. No pupils they were blank but I could tell it was lookin right at mine. It was taller than a man with long ass arms like one of them monkeys but it had claws. LONG ones. And a tail too. Real fluffy like. Big ears like a bat and a pointed horn-like nose. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever before is screeched again. I thought my ears were gonna bleed. I scrambled to my feet and took off runnin’. Never looked back. My used to take me to those woods all the time. I woulda never gone if i knew somethin’ like that was in there.”
There have been numerous reports of a similar creature over the years, all describing a mammalian animal with long-arms and “empty” white eyes with the ears of a bat but a twisted wolfish body and a long tail. It is normally always seen high in the tree top where it used its arms to swing across branches. It also seems its tail is prehensile used for both balance and and extra limb like a spider monkey. All reports claim to have heard the beast before seen it. A high-pitched screech that echoes in the forest. The beast may possibly be blind or have poor vision and use echolocation.
There have been no known reports of the creature attacking.
