Allen loved flying, but as a quadruped, becoming a pilot was just not practical. In his free time he would often park his car at the end of the local municipal runway and watch the small aircraft take off and land. One of these planes was Carla's crop duster. She noticed him sitting there on top of his car throughout the summer and became curious about him. Eventually she went out to where he was and began chatting with him. Carla was impressed by his knowledge and interest about aviation. He was also cute and she liked his personality.
Carla invited him into the airport for a tour and for her to show him her Grumman Ag-Cat. Allen was thrilled at the opportunity. He was like a kid in a candy store, getting to check things out. Carla didn't have to be much of a tour guide, since Allen already knew pretty much what everything was and was for from his reading about aviation. He also got along with everyone at the airport very well when Carla introduced him. At least once they realized that he wasn't a feral mountain lion; it was a warm day and Allen had taken off his vest. It took a little bit for the cervines on staff to get used to a feral looking mountain lion being around them. Allen took all that in stride of course, since he DID look like a feral mountain lion at first glance. One had to look close to see that he had hands instead of paws on his front legs.
The friendship between the two quickly turned into a relationship. The two of them found that they enjoyed each others company. Allen loved being petted and snuggled as if he was a feral cat, something Carla was all to eager to do. Carla liked having someone who enjoyed talking about aviation. She also liked to hear about Allen's work as well. It was interesting and something different from what she worked with every day.
Here we see Allen arriving home, Carla already in pajamas and ready to snuggle and snooze. That is all perfectly fine with Allen. He reaches with one hand to gently rub Carla's thigh as she reaches up and puts her arms around his neck to pull him down to her. Allen starts to purr as Carla licks his nose, she loves his loud purring. Laying down beside her, his relaxing purrs soon has Carla sound asleep. Snuggled up against his toasty warm lioness, he soon follows her.
