some back story to this..

Rem was a medic in life, he prided himself on his ability to save lives through medicine and surgery.
Now, after defying the gods, has been cursed to live an endless life, protecting and serving the dead with hands that can only kill.
Able to see the dead with his right eye, he can pass into the spirit realm through the use of a magical token, a pocket watch which he'd received from his lover in life.
He uses this guise as a traditional get up when speaking with spirits and preforming the rites so they can move on into the underworld.
The only way that he could die and finally set his own spirit free is to pass his curse down onto another person, who willingly volunteers to accept such a burden.
