This thing turns heads at the range and it is very nice to shoot. The only thing I don't like is the downward ejection so empty casings bounce off my stomach. >.<
The PS90 is the semi-automatic carbine version of the FN P90 sub-machine gun. Ammo off the shelf is about $24 for 50 rounds (which is one magazine) for aftermarket and $29 for FN brand.
I currently have a laser sight which fits onto the sight rail (not shown here). For the interested, the ammo can is post-war West German for the MG3 while the camo is Waffen-SS (reproduction zeltbahn).

Huh so this thing is technically an assault rifle? That all sounds like pretty fancy made stuff from them, I can't even trust my FN in my pocket loaded, apparently striker fire can be a bit sketchy with their older guns. :/
How fun are those strange bullets to fire at stuff? I thought it had its own unique round or something but I haven't heard much of them.

It isn't an assault rifle for two reasons. The first, the 5.7mm round is pistol ammunition and second, the PS90 is not selective fire. That is, it doesn't have the capability of fully automatic fire, only semi-automatic (takes a pull of the trigger to fire each round).
The 5.7mm round was developed in response to a NATO request for a replacement of the 9mm Parabellum round. The P90 was designed to use the round and was sold as a PDW (Personal Defense Weapon). The round has more range than 9mm does, better accuracy, and has greater "knock down" power. The ammunition you can buy in stores is a modified version of the military grade 5.7mm round. It cannot penetrate Level II or higher body armor and has been classified by the ATF (after testing) to be non-armor piercing (which, obviously, the military ammo is).
As for firing, very nice accuracy, not a lot of kick. But ammo selection is limited (the store nearest me carries only two brands to pick from) and a bit pricey.

FYI I am blaming you for posting this. ;)
