Poor bunny!
Lady came in to Petco and dropped this little guy off on the counter and left. Tried to catch up to her to have her fill out adoption paperwork but she didn't have the time. I asked why she was giving up the bunny and she basically said they were moving to a new apartment and she didn't have the room with a pitbull in the house...
I think what she meant to say is she's too busy drowning bags of kittens! D:<
Last night was rough cause I KNOW I can't adopt a bunny.... I would've posted this earlier but I couldn't figure out how to get a picture off my phone w/o wasting a text sending it to my email or something.

Thats sad man. I would take that bunny, if I could, but sadly I dont libe in the states. So, why cant you adopt the bunny, no room, no time, not allowed by the landlord? Well, anyway, I think there are people here on FA who would like to have a cute little bunneh as a pet and would take good care of it. So, no problem, that little guy/girl will soon have a new home. :)
Related but feel-good ending:
I'm at a local pet store to buy various types of pet food for my menagerie and drag my parents inside with me. They already have a cat and four dogs (and they're allergic to all of them) when my dad spots a 6 or 7 month old female cat cowering in a cage. He asks the employees "has she been here a while? She looks old". They reply no, she was in a box thrown at the front door a few hours ago. A few minutes later the cat was in another box, but this time held in my mother's lap as they drove home.
Not everyone is a dick. Let's hope karma catches up with bunny-lady.

This journal reminds me of a link I just stumbled onto yesterday, especially the leftmost image under "Posters/PostCards."

I know, but this one didn't have that kind of feel to it..
Why would a pit bull be allowed in the apartment, yet not a rabbit? It would seem the latter would be less trouble?
And second, she was leaving Thumper on the counter with no intention of signing paperwork, had a definite lack of compassion there.
It bugged me and I felt bad for poor Thumper. I can relate!
