squeakie. I had gotten this funny idea in my head of some of my characters (and Casidhe) going out for shoes. The two guys, Kathris (tiger) and Shrag (my mate/Jaguar), had the misfortune of being tapped by the three lovely ladies to help them shop in an all day shopping spree. Shrag is hesitant to take the money to the register, while Kathris figures this will cost most of his cash.
I love how Lauren seems both uncertain about the prospect of having metal shoes nailed to her hooves, and looks like she's thinking 'they expect me to wear this'? Add to that slight amused frustration that other species can just slide them on without a visit to the store's farrier. :)
Kate Coyle is amused at the fact that the tiny shoes wouldn't possibly fit on her serpentine feet, and even though she generally goes barefoot, what girl doesn't like shoe shopping?
Meanwhile Casidhe blissfully slips on the perfect pair!

I don't know about you, but I'd feel funny having someone take my hooves and nail a metal shoe onto them. I do like horse shoes, but still... :) Go to the store, get your shoes nailed on! :) Darn other species for being able to wear slippers and sandals. :)

*sigh*... Yeah, shopping for clothes is just boring to me. If I need clothes or shoes, I like to go in, make a decision, make the purchase, and leave.
When my kitty sits around and says, "Oooh, I like those, but those don't match this or that, and hey, maybe I could use these on thursdays, and..." I just roll my eyes and keep my muzzle shut.

Exactly! Guys are genetically programmed to not enjoy shopping for cute outfits or sexy shoes. They'd rather buy video games or tools or big shiny things. Maybe I should do the reverse picture, where Kathris and Shrag are in the video game store and the girls are just bored. LOL.

I grew up in the shoe business, and this is pretty accurate!
Which is another reason why I go the Eric Schwartz route and never have anyone wearing shoes!

Kate loves her feet too, she's very proud of her body, which is why she rarely wears much clothes. Here she's amused that most species wear these tiny toed shoes for their feet, whereas her more animalistic feet wouldn't fit in such dainty things.

Lauren generally prefers to go barehooved. (Personally I rarely have my furries wear shoes, only exception being sexy ladies shoes if applicable, never on hoofers or avians)
I did come up with the thought that military horses are shod as part of their uniform, though. I like that idea.
