blender model and physical model
both somewhat unfinished works in progress
scale 1/48th, gauge ~15 to 18 inches,
whatever it is that 9mm(n-gauge) track and wheels scales out to,
in 1/4 inch to the foot scale.

(the powered unit, which will be numbered 63, and affectionately known as "the truck",
began life as a kato mechanism, that had been under my HOn30 "goose". being my
smoothest runner, and my other power starting to have problems, became an obvious
candidate for power here. one problem though, on the tight curves of this layout,
it couldn't be used directly to pull my other existing stock, do to having way too much
end swing, not to derail everthing coupled to it. so instead, a personel trailer, with
the adjoing truck/bogie located so as to match its sideswing, and joined with a solid
draft link was created. anyway, smoothest runner on the pike, of which photos of
scenery and structure progression will also be uploaded at some point)
