More from Lemoncore
Remember when Lordboo needed help and I decided to to try and help them by announcing I'd make a freebie for one lucky someone who gave her some work to do? Welp, this is the result.
After a very LONG, very SLOOOOW back and forth note sending, I am finally able to deliver a finished piece for the winner of the freebie:
Jrkepler
This is their character, Lady Vandalar, a half-dragon, half-human paladin female :3
I took VERY long to finish this piece, but it wasn't only because of the lack of response for a long time from Jrkepler, but also because I worked a lot more than usual on this piece. I made several light and shadow layers and even when it's a monochrome piece, the armor lining and shading/lighting was so time consuming I wasn't able to finish it in one or to sits, as I usually do with full color pieces.
I'm happy with the resulting piece, though, and it makes me even MORE happy that this piece is a nice SFW example for my gallery UuU)b

This piece was one of my more guilty events. I too like lordboo and wanted to help him out to that end I gave him just about every thing I had to color, and ended up winning this picture from lemoncore. It was totally out of the blue, I had not read that part of it Boo requested my help directly in a stream we both visit. I didn't even know lemoncore existed. I personally have very few characters of my own so from the short list this palladin NPC from a DnD game came up as it was simply the one I had the most references for. It was the most back burner thing in the world but Lemoncore is very catlike in demanding your attention. I was actually quite amazed that lemoncore uploaded it to their gallery given just how different it is. Regardless I gave almost no feedback on this piece, this one is all Lemoncore. So be aware everybody out there, I'm looking at the WoW players lemoncore can do very good armor.
As for the armor upon the wings. that specific design was based upon a hand modeled Warhammer 40k Bloodthrister and was able to share a picture with Alshin the original artist of the armored pic that I gave as reference.

Sorry I was such a pester when trying to get an answer from you ;v; I really dislike having incomplete projects or taking longer than expected to finish a piece for a client. I wanted to make sure I'd deliver the piece and didn't want for it to sit on my WIP folder forever!

It was absolutely the best artwork I've never paid for. It suffers from the lack of a clear vision on my part, I really didn't know what I wanted. The quality is very nice and the character and especially the armor is clearly recognized as the same as the other images. If I were to purchase an image from you again it would probably be some kind of renamon or pokemon.
In all you did very well considering I more or less abandoned you on this one. You came through with your own ideas and your own creativity. The most important part is you did right by your friend Boo.
