He's a part of an original species by me, and they're based on the animals and gemstones a culture kept dear to them. This one is for the Aztec culture, as they kept turquoise on the higherst regard. They didn't necessarily worship jaguars, though they did in The Road to El Dorado. XD there wasn't much information to go off of for the Aztec culture.
