One day, Greg visited the charity food stand to fetch some quality food. Hours before he found a small sack of gold inside an abandoned mine and intended to buy several months worth of proper and good food instead of porridge. On that fateful day, the Emperor of Dassa attempted to activate a gateway into another universe... but it failed. It opened into the middleverse, the dimensional medium and broke equilibrium. The gate may have been shut down but the flood of D-Creeps in the wormhole still came... driven by the momentum of them being vacuumed into the gate... They materialized above the city and wreaked havoc amongst the people, killing thousands.

One chased Greg into a warehouse. Cornered and trapped... Greg pulled a lever that crushed the dark D-Creep under it's crushing clamps. The matter of the monster splattered all over Greg and in extreme pain from the matter sucking into his body... he was warped into the middleverse to serve as a balance to the loss of equilibrium... but he survived... he endured somehow. A one in a trillion chance he lived through the Middleverse and was rescued by someone who journeys through it.

Greg was given a simple declaration of what happened... and what he must do... Greg's body was destroyed and his essence scattered amongst the universe but his soul remains as well as one part of his essence... enough to allow him a physical body. Now he must journey through time and space to locate his 4 scattered essences and become whole again. Only then will he be able to return home.
