It was suggested on the greyscale version of this drawing that this would look good with some equally atomic colours. Figured it would be a good excuse to practice with some colours, so....
Originally I'd started using green and blue to colour it, but I didn't like how it was coming out so I switched to purple half way through and I liked it so much more.
(Atomic Skull is portrayed with a head of green fire in the Justice League Unlimited animated series, but he's primarily purple or sometimes orange in the comics.)

Also, wow there are, like... no Atomic Skull tags on DA. This guy needs more love.
