A meylan reference sheet for
Arais91, who let me have a chance to do a meylan version of their own character with a couple changes!
This character has some backstory, posted here at the commissioner's request:
The group is basically a culmination of melyan from all different walks of life who've left their previous faction or were loners for one reason or another, but brought back together and united under the banner of this current faction. Their mantra is to embrace the madness of the new world and do whatever it takes to harsh the land. They're loosely strung and rarely within large numbers as they operate more so with a 'cell' mentality. However, it's not above them to culminate in an area every few months to discuss matters and decide where to go next with the 'clan' if you will. They are known to be fiercely loyal to the leadership structure and share the thought that no one should have ownership over Huu and will resort to infiltration, assassination, and terrorist acts to prevent such a thing. They aren't above having small groups or single stragglers gain the trust of a certain faction before putting a bullet in someone's head before disappearing in the night. However, this is a rare sight as they are mostly neutral, staying out of the way of the rig miners and other hostile factions as they do not view their violence or business as a hindrance to the cycle on the planet, merely just a part of a greater whole. However, they will shoot them on sight if approached by those whom seem far too gone. They prefer to use quiet weapons, some have been known to lean towards the use of pneumatic weaponry due to the silent nature and reusable ammo ontop of the nature of their long travels. However, not all are this way and some do enjoy a nice loud weapon. Their main tactics in combat are that of the extremely underhanded, as they do not see a reason to waste their own people for no reason; they see no harm in shooting one in the back if it solves a problem down the line. 'Honor' is subjective and not relevant to those whom they aren't related with. They have a strong bond amongst one another, so they will go to great lengths to retrieve their own kind. Their outfits generally consist of clothing with waistcoats, and head-wear to hide their identity to those outside of their clan, the main reason being that their identity is ideal to use if trying to sneak into a colony and get something done! Although their suits vary in terms of style, one thing is always certain, they generally tend to have a ring-like jewelry on them which they bear like a trophy, whether it's a necklace, anklet, ring or wrist-wear of some sort. They generally tend to paint them with simple designs which they put their own 'stories' on.
Sassh grew up amongst the Sel'Vir, traveling with his family cell about Huu, learning what he could and picking up what he couldn't along the way. Not a whole lot is to be said about them, except that they are used to the traveling life. The ways of his faction are embedded in his mind continues where his family left off before settling in a small Sel'Vir outpost, seeking to make his own cell while living their way of life. Generally of a 'neutral' mindset, Sassh usually looks the other way to most that happens across Huu so long as it does not directly conflict with the thoughts of his clan. However when involved, he is known to go to fanatic lengths to prevent the loss of their own.
