Nyarlathoteph posing
My second Axolotl - Nyarlathoteph, the Black Pharao. He's such a clown, I love him. ;) He's always posing for a photo.
He's a brute, really. I have another Axolotl, a third one, but he is shy and never shows up when I am handling a camera near the tank. O_O; Strange somehow! Nyarlathoteph did bite off his tail tip once as he tried to steal my attention away from the black beast. :p
It's good that Axolotl posess incredible regeneration powers. Missing limps grow again and all. So there's no real need to worry.

I dont think I need to blabber on about how much I love these critters, you already know! :)
But thank you for sharing more photos of them. I really really want a job, to save up get a nice tank and environment going so I can have one, there is a shop with several down the road. I've sometimes gone in there just to look at them (a lil sad I know, but its the closest I have right now) XD

Awwww! Setting up the tank is... expensive. =/ We spent more than 300 Euros on all the stuff initially. But then it becomes... cheap. XD They don't eat much and don't need much. Just the eletricity to have the pump working around the clock and so on.
You should have at least two of them, though. My breeder assured me that it's not good to keep them alone. =/ And my breeder is a very faithful friend, she didn't sell the babies to me, she gave them to me for free.
So watch out! I wish you luck so you can save some money and get a tank and at least two of them cuteys. :) And as soon as you have them, let me know and show me some nice pictures of them, as well, will you?

Yeah I know its the most expensive part initally, Once I have it all bought and set up and ready, then getting some little Axo's will be easy. And yes' I probably would get two, because even if having one would be fine, I dont think just having one would be enough XD

haha! it's a double meaning in water-mark here! I realised just now. XD
Well the plants are all natural growing and living plants. Axolotl can't live with plastic plants because the ooze out chemicals into the water and axolotl can die by those chemicals. =/ So I won't dare to put in plastic plants!
