I changed horse breed now, but the general atmosphere stayed the same. Another Tim Flach/Equus referenced drawing, this time of a Halflinger enjoying a mountain view. One of the things I admire most about Flach's photography is the poses, as I think I said before. I simply can't resist drawing them. Again I tried to pay special attention to the shading, but also thought about the background a lot. General conclusion - more practice needed. ^_^
Oh yes, and I'm off work today because of my flu, so expect lots of art! I've been inspired by the muses of black paper! ;)

And she did it again!
I like the breed change. As more different breeds you draw as better you will become with drawing their differences I think.
I really like the whole black paper idea a lot. I think I have to get the book too...just to see the pictures as fotos^^
Do you know: http://www.yannarthusbertrand.org/v2/yab_us.htm ? I think you could get some impression there too^^ Have fun
