It's a cute car, but the 2nd gen Impreza was more boy racer appeal than anything else. I think my 9-3 2.0T or Crown PI would be about to own of these on the freeway xD

As in crown vic? I've been kicking the idea around of one of those since a four door would be nice and its the same drivetrain as my mustang and more practical. I know my way around modulars so getting more speed out if it is cake :).

I almost bought a 2015 WRX STI. But I bought a 2015 Civic EX-L. Heh, yeaaahhh.....

Having bought a '15 base model, I seriously think it's better than the STi. The new engine is waaaaay better, even if the rumble is gone.

The rumble of the sti is the whole reason I like it. The 2015 isn't loud but it's still there.. idk how they did it but it sounds sexy. Either way, civic.

The rumble comes from the fact that the exhaust headers are unequal length on the left side of the engine compared to the right side. It's the same reason why old American V8's have that distinctive rumble, while large European engines (like on Ferraris) don't. I do like the rumble a lot, but equal length headers are more efficient and you get more power, among other things.

I got used to the extra power, less turbo lag, and better throttle response on the new engine. Most new cars these days are pretty awesome.

Of course, I wouldn't mind the fuel economy of a Civic EX-L. ;)

Not bad for a little ricer, good mileage and it'll get up and scoot
