General Characteristics:

It's a type of dragon with a pair of small hands underneath regular arms

Has sharp eyesight and sense of smell

Can either have long, small, short or big ears

Can have a nubby tail or long

Males have horns Females do not, but both have hair

Tail markings glow (one color)


Land Characteristics:

Slim to muscular bodies

Has long canine teeth with smaller teeth and molars

They have small wings enough to "glide" but not fly


Aquatic Characteristics:

Environment:

Mainly in tropics/rainforest or great plains/savanna. But they can live anywhere.

Tropic dragon ancestors were insectivores but over time and adaptation, they became more omnivore. When meat is scares or low population, they can eat vegetation even eat poisonous plants with their strong stomach acid. Which is where some developed a bioluminescent in their tails to attract a mate.

They can be any color that's around them or beyond

Can blend in with their surroundings (slight color changing)

Forest: 2ft-8ft tall (depending on location); 10 ft long (depending on location)

Savanna: 4ft-5ft tall; 7ft long

Salt Water: 10ft tall (depending on location); ~20ft long (depending on location)

Fresh Water: 5ft tall (depending on location); 10ft-15ft long (depending on location)

Volcanic/Mountains: 6ft tall; 14ft long

Desert: 3ft tall; 7ft long

Ice Caps: 4ft tall; 6ft long


Other:

Most of these Species are actually warm-blooded if cold-blooded it's rare to have them.

They're very smart and intelligent.

They mate for life. Not many survive after a mate has either left them or died.
