I think there was some mention about the company getting the OK from those who developed the emulator. Though that doesnt excuse the fact that little-to-no extra effort seems to went into those re-releases.

The female would potentially be Bubsy's older sister; someone to balance out Bubsy's wild side. And yup, I did see the pilot. If nothing else, it makes for a good lesson in how not to produce a cartoon. :Y

...the Bubsy games were, interesting to say the least. Chaotic, but interesting. I fondly recall one of them having a level where you were an armadillo inside an engine, but I'm getting off topic.

I just read the Steam release title. "Bubsy Two-Fur". I enjoy a good pun, but oh god help us if someone strains, like actively, to bring Bubsy back. The puns, DT. The world isn't ready for the puns.

Haha I was going to try to pitch my idea to them too but realized with my lack of a portfolio in game making (I made a space funeral fan game and that's it lol) and my lack of a pitch bible, and it's really fucked up and bizarre, so I figured they wouldn't want it and said "fuck it".

I wish that was the Official Bubsy redesign, the original looks terrible
