"That's One Way to Get a Workout..." - Version 1
And here's something I had wanted to try sketching for a while now, and with a new character as well!
I'd wanted to make a marco character to add to my group of regulars, so here's Helena, a tough muscular type who has a particular love of keeping her paws occupied while she's working out!
The perspective is a bit weird because this was my first time trying out an 'underground' shot, to show her foot as it's pressed against the floor. I figure I'll get plenty of time this year to practice and improve with this type of perspective though, so I'll likely try this again soon.

Hey, for a first time I can't help but say it looks definitely good though, I can't lie about it. She seems like a fun char to develop too, she somehow poked my curiosity with that smirk of hers ;P Tough looking girls with such smirks are definitely a good combo to keep in my book if I can say so! She seems to have potential for some funny scenarios, wouldn't mind knowing more about her personality or any random facts you got about her!
Thanks, glad you liked it! And yeah, I'm definitely a fan of the tough girls myself, and I'm planning to make Helena a regular in my art gallery too. As for extra details and such, I actually haven't had a chance to fully develop her yet, since I've been jumping from one art project to another for the past couple of weeks and I designed her off the top of my head for this picture. But I'll be developing her a lot more in the future, once I have more time to work with her. ^_^
Hey for real I mean it! She looks very nice and I would definitely be curious to know more about her as soon as you have more ideas for her ;) Hell, could even PM you if you want sometimes, let's say her -little- smirk just caught my eyes as you noticed XD Seriously, take your time though, developing chars can take a while sometimes but it's just always rewarding! I'm sure she can get very awesome!
