Eric's words hurt a lot more than she cared to admit. Her argument faltered as tears threatened to spill from her eyes. When she realized she was about to loose the internal battle of emotions, Aria turned her back on him and choked back a sob. She didn't want him to see her weakness, so she began to walk away before she broke down in front of him.
She remembered the old saying "love hurts"... But was it right for it to feel like this?
"Don't you walk away from me!" He shouted after her, his temper at its peak.
He ignored the little voice inside him that told him to cool it and apologize. Something inside told him he'd gone too far but he didn't seem to care at this point. He growled and balled his hands into fists as she disappeared into her room without another word. UGH! Why did she frustrate him this much? He knew he would probably regret this moment for a long time.

My old RP/Story characters Aria & Eric from "A Dreamer Awakened" having an argument over god knows what. Sometimes their tempers get the better of them and hurtful things can be said.

This is a more... Furry version of these two. Haha. Generally they're human, but I've lost my human Anime touch. Besides- I turned Aria into a wolf for a comic Koji is working on and decided to go ahead and keep them for now.
