I'm actually playing through Alpha Sapphire right now, just recently bought it, and my Super Ninja evolved into Sceptile not too long ago. Though in my personal opinion Grovyle looks much cooler than Sceptile.
The gameplay mechanics are really different comparing the two games, and I find that using the same tactics that I used in Emerald made play in Alpha Sapphire much more difficult.
