Although seemingly eccentric and absent-minded, he is a very wise old coot. Believes that discipline is key to success and takes pains molding his beloved daughter into an upstanding person.
Runs a popular hot spring chalet in Lavaridge town with his wife. Loves tea.

Gentle and caring old lady that is respected by everyone in town. Like her husband, she's also very wise... minus the eccentricity however.
Is an excellent cook and does most of the dishes the chalet serves. One should be sure to try out her cooking at least once whenever in town. Loves tea.

I truly love all of the family portraits, but this has to be my favorite. The whole background just makes perfect sense, and I love how understated, yet pleasant the design is on Xiao's kimono. Everything about the scene is so sweet and peaceful, and I adore little details such as the leek resting behind Old Man Wong. Something about this picture is wonderful in how uncomplicated it is.
