The buxom female corgi in these sketches is Candace West. Candace, or "Candy" as she likes to go by, is a professional swimsuit model who Rosemary met a few years back when they appeared in a girls beach volleyball DVD. Since then Rosemary and her have been involved in a number of commercial photo shoots. While Candy's ancestors may have lived in the cold, wet, dour hills of Wales, she herself calls the big island of Hawaii home.
One of things that these sketches show is that in this world there is much more of a demand for models of all species, gender, and body types and size. Since you have up to a thousand or more distinctive species, and size ranges from 8 inches to 8 feet casting companies are constantly looking for talent.
It must get particularly interesting in Hollywood when they are casting for films. I can just imagine a conversation in Studio Exec's office going like this between the Director and the head of Casting . "Well sir we have no problem with the main female lead role, but were having an issue with the lead male role." "Oh really?" says the Director. "Ah, yes. You see the main male character of the novel is a young, athletic snow leopard." comments the Casting Head as she thumbs through her notes. "At the moment we have no one of that species under contract who can fills the role." "Wait a minute!" exclaims the Director leaning forward in his chair. "What about Omar?" "Lost him in the talent swap with New Line last year." The casting lead replies while shaking her head. "Shit!" the Director leans back in his chair.

Casting Head shakes her head again "Sir remember what happened when we tried that in the remake of "High Noon". It only worked because Michael wasn't the leading actor. We played all kinds of lighting tricks to hide the makeup and only had to do work on his tail and face." Tapping the script with her pen she continues. "Here we'd have to do full body work since much of the time he's just wearing beach shorts, and he's to suppose constantly getting wet!" Leaning back in her chair she stares at the director over the top of her wire rim glasses. The Director hated it when she did that!
Pinching the bridge of his nose with a sigh, the Director shifted in his seat and reached for his venti decaf latte. "Right, right. Waitaminute! What about that unsigned guy who just finished wrapping that Panda flick - er...Ian? See if he's available. He's rough, but he's got that cocky, 'determined competitor' image we can work with in the surfing contest scene. It also gives us the emotional barrier to cut through with the romance angle."
He could see her eyes narrowing as they glanced back at the script. "Okay, the age is a stretch, but we need a Known here!"

I imagine there are a lot of amusing little problems when you have such variety, modeling just being one of the most obvious. As Herd Thinners pointed out toilets and other conventional items drive manufacturers crazy having to accommodate so many wide-ranging body styles due to species and gender. But good thing we get such a nice display like this to show why it's all worthwhile. :)
