Ok, so I've been wanting to do this for a while now, a big picture of all my aviation friends and inspirations. You guys all mean so much to be, be that as an online friend, a major inspiration in the art you do or a friend in real life....all tied together with a love of aviation.

So from front left to right, we have:
and of course Red Baron!
So we have a whole bunch of aviation loving characters in a briefing room planning routes and routines, I imagine for an epic air display (this bunch of furs can fly some pretty cool stuff)! Expect to see at least one eurofighter, a Hawker Hunter, an F-18 as well as some stunning old warbirds. I really wanted to get a warm sunny feel with the light pouring in though a window. I went a bit nuts with the amount of lighting layers on this, at least 12 so far...still learning! The sketch is actually from my sketch book, I just like the feel of raw pencil plus I suck at drawing straight into Photoshop.
Haha I love how many of us aviation furs have red in our colour schemes!
So yes, some of you guys I have never met but I would still consider you friends, all you of inspire me and keep me going so thank you for that. And if you read all that gush, put 'Spitfire' in the comments haha
So yeah, a late happy new year gift for you lovely people.

Wow! That's an awesome surprise that youd did to all of us! Thank you very much, It's just wonderful!
Well, I don't really know how to place it but well: Spitfire! (Find that rather funny as I'm just listening an interview of Pierre Clostermann, who flew on it, and who was talking about it!)

That is quite amazing! You've captured the atmosphere absolutely beautifully, and I'm very curious to know what daring deed of aerobatic feat these young pilots are planning for their next outing. All of the ladies and gentlemen here are truly lucky to have you as their friend. ^__^
As requested, 'Spitfire', or more specifically, http://www.modelflying.co.uk/sites/3/images/member_albums/86362/spitfire.jpg :)

Yo, this is so wicked! I love the atmosphere you captured - it reminds me of the look of an old ops room from WWII! And everyone looks great - the detail is phenomenal, down to their expressions nit-picking the charts, hehe! I wonder if there'll be a Spitfire included among the old birds. BD
Thank you so much for including me in this, it's such an honour and wonderful surprise! <3 You're so awesome! :D

I love this picture! I was lead to it through a train of aviation friends and its come after more and more flight stuff is pushing itself back into my life! It brought memories to mind and a tear to my eye...
... I then dug my old charts out the loft refolded them and pined over my old flightplans!
Beautiful.
