Material study are like these-you need to follow the photograph with your own eyes to emulate it right :D so it's tipical

Mhm, I bet. But yeah, even full size I had to look hard for indications that it had actually been painted. The right shoulder guard as it gets out of the FOV was the bit that I finally found. Too brushy for a photo.

I can't get over how good this looks! It is so realistic and indistinguishable from pictures of reality, but when you get up close you can begin to see and appreciate the beauty of the strokes. Very, very, very nicely done.

I'm also in the "I thought it was a photo at first" club. I can tell more when I look at it full size that it's a painting, but... I mean, yeah. xD
