I printed out the template and transferred it to this blue insulation foam. I then cut out 3 layers and glued them together . I hope to make a hot knife to make cutting things like this much easier and cleaner. Then after a lot of carving and sanding I have this!
She is now finished and is going into painting, which I hate. I have to coat every side in 5 layers of a sealent. This is because the foam will be dissolved by spray paint. Then there will be several layers of primer. THEN I will start painting, the wood grain is gunna be a pain for sure.
