Endless Realms bestiary - Eye of Arkinoth
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
The art director requested a low-level angel creature, and distantly inspired by the ophanim (mostly just the use of a "flaming" eye, really), I came up with this. Arkinoth, by the way, is the God of the cosmic force of Good in Endless Realms - while I don't literally think this is what his eye looks like, I figured it was a fairly feasible name in-world - a little magical creature of light that resembles an eye and serves the god of Good? Sure, we'll call it the Eye of Arkinoth!

Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean :) I really wanted to do something like, a flame or lantern or something, but thought it'd be too similar to the already-existing lantern archon creatures of D&D/Pathfinder, so I used an eye. Just tried to make it, like... anti-Sauron and emanate "Good" instead of "Evil," heh.
