This was one of my first attempts at bringing faces out of the dirt on the concrete. I see a girl facing to the left. Or a dragon looking down and to the right. The bottom tip of red is where the dragons nose is. The eye is the same for girl and dragon.
This was before I learned what burn and dodge were.

Well I cant really hone my eye skill since these faces just make up everything for me. But what I really had to work on was how to bring the images out without making it look terrible and look as natural as possible. A month after I did this, I was about to give up. But then one of my friends told me about burn and dodge. Its pretty much the only tool I use in Photoshop. Just darken darker areas, lighten the lighter. Make the contrast more apparent and easy for everyone else to see.
*shakes head amusedly* I wish I had your talent, lol. I see stuff, yeah, but it's _nowhere_ near as much as yours, and it's usually not as detailed. *laughs* I think most of the time, I only see things is in wallpaper or paintings or such, where I'm never sure whether the markings are REALLY abstract, or someone did it on purpose... o.0
I would assume its on accident. I find stuff in tiles and wallpaper all the time too. But I think that they just designed it to look neat. Not to have faces in it. I ask digital artist constantly if when they do clouds in their pictures if they intentionally put faces in it. They always say no. Lol
